I decided to leave organizational leadership positions, so I could focus on developing and helping implement creative projects that build a better community for all. My career has led me on an exciting path taking my community organizing roots to work with organizations and communities in the areas of economic and workforce development, participatory leadership, strategic policy and system change formulation and advocacy.

Innovative private-public partnership between United Way of Thurston County and seven local jurisdictions to concentrate and focus social services and housing funding around shared goals
WASHINGTON ASSET BUILDING COALITION
Founding Executive Director of start-up nonprofit working with 17 local coalitions to promote savings and equity, financial education and consumer protections.
COMMUNITY JOBS
Developed and led in the creation of the nation’s largest paid transitional jobs program placing tens of thousands of low income adults into permanent jobs
